Started in 2017, the Brentford Penguins FC is a football Club run by Brentford FC Legend, Allan Cockram, which is supported by Brentford Football Club as well as Down’s Syndrome Active. We are also affiliated with the Middlesex FA and the Special Olympics.
Our weekly outdoor training sessions are open to boys and girls with Down’s syndrome aged 5 and over who want to learn and practice their football skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting whilst also improving their balance, coordination and agility. Not only are we a football club but we also organise events for the kids, host holiday Football Camps and we are also lucky enough to attend some of the Premiership games at Brentford FC.

Brentford Penguins FC is a proudly inclusive football club offering exciting football and social opportunities for players aged 5 and over with Down’s syndrome.
Led by an FA-qualified coach and supported by passionate qualified volunteers, our weekly sessions focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, and — most importantly — having fun! Every session is packed with energy, encouragement, and games that help build confidence, coordination, and lasting friendships.
